Dangan Ronpa Megawoman Found Guilty Animation (V1) by Hexidextrous Dangan Ronpa Megawoman Found Guilty Animation (V1) by Hexidextrous
An animated sequence I made for :icongeneral-radix: based on the "Found Guilty" animations from Dangan Ronpa 1. This is the first of two different versions I made.

Basically, this is for a little crossover project that ~General-RADIX has been involved with, that involves Dangan Ronpa. This is supposed to be the animation sequence for if one of his Megaman fan variations, "Megawoman" (who resembles a genderbent Megaman with a long ponytail), were found guilty of one of the murders in Dangan Ronpa, and was sentenced to be executed. I'm not sure exactly how Megawoman would be executed, but it would no doubt be crazily over the top, like the others.

This was extremely difficult for me to make, but I feel was worth it. I had to first create the sprites myself, and due to the limited color palette and Dangan Ronpa pixel style, it was difficult to add much detail to Megawoman, but still keep her recognizeable. Then I had to decompile a gif of the original series's execution intros, and make indivudual frames like in the original, and finally animate them all into a gif sequence. I thought it would be easy at first, but I was wrong, although in the end, I like how it turned out. It almost looks like one of the original animations in the series, and the sprites are rather good too.
I certainly hope that you like this, ~General-RADIX for I put a lot of effort into this animation as you can see. Be sure to show this to ~BlueIke too. The other one will hopefully be done soon.

This is Version 1 of the animation, which only has the pixelated sprite animation for the execution intro. I made two different ones since I thought it would be good to do.
You can see Version 2 of it here:     hexidextrous.deviantart.com/ar…

Adobe Flash for the animating, and Adobe Fireworks to help with the pixelated sprites.

Thanks. It was for my friend, ~General-RADIX and she liked it too. I tried to make it as much like the one from the game as a could. Apparently I succeeded in that part!

Wow, this was a sweet animation Hexidextrous, I really love how it came out. I have been always trying to make my animation look interesting but yours is totally awesome.

Why thank you Waimbert. I think I did a rather good job on this too, though it certainly was a lot harder to make than my other works.

This actually took 94 frames to animate, believe it or not. Making an animation like this is no easy task.

By the way, I make animated gifs by making the frames and sprites myself, importing them into Adobe Flash, and then animating them in Flash. It certainly is easier than other ways of making animated gifs, though I doubt that you own Adobe Flash.

You're welcome!

And no I don't own Adobe Flash myself. I produce my animation using Image Ready and making them frame by frame. And even then I am heavily inspired by other people gif animation, such as the one seen below.

I see. Well keep going, you'll soon be able to make something good.

I don't usually animate my stuff, since it is rather difficult, and I only do so when the situation really calls for it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it. I wasn't sure whether to call her a fan-character or fan-variation, but I'll change that in the description if you want.

The Sonic Rose one is still in the works. This was already difficult to make and animate, and Sonic Rose's sprites are turning out a bit more complex than Megawoman's.

Did you see the second version I made? I made a second one with the part of Monokuma hitting the button at the start. Go check that one out if you haven't yet.

Thanks, ElasticFan. I made these for ~General-RADIX and apparently she likes them too. It was extremely hard work though, but I like the way it turned out.

I will. I have another animation in the works too, though it's taking more time than expected. Creating animations is a lot more harder than creating artworks, well most of the time.

You can't rush perfection. But, as you get more used to it you can reduce time and find simpler ways to make it better. This is your first animation yes?

I've made a few other animations, if you look into my gallery, but this one has a lot more frames than my older ones, and is better animated too.
