A little talk about Yuri/Yaoi

In a way, I can consider this to be "Enough With The Fetish Accusations, Part 2."


A lot of times in many anime series that I'm into, I've seen people accuse characters of being Yuri/Yaoi lovers, and not just best friends and allies, even though they never do stuff that looks like that. It's really getting on my nerves greatly!
Like people accuse me of liking certain Cuteness Anime shows because they think I'm into Yuri WHEN I'M NOT, I AM INTO CUTENESS AND CUDDLINESS AND MOE'!
Or when people say characters like KonataXKagami, YuiXAzusa, MadokaXHomura, SonicXShadow, MegamanXZero, and many others are Gay Lovers, even though they are not!

THEY ARE NOT FRIKKIN YURI AND YAOI LOVERS, THEY ARE NOT GAY! THEY ARE JUST BEST FRIENDS AND/OR ALLIES!


Honestly! Why is it that so many people see two little Cute and Cuddly and Fluffy Anime Sweeties together and automatically assume they are Gay Lovers!

And I've seen people get into entire post wars to determine a character's sexuality and such (some which I have gotten in the middle of), LIKE WHO THE HECK CARES?! The shippers just want to go straight to the romance and skip their current friendship as if it's something shameful or "worse". I've seen fans raise hell if anyone suggests that a confirmed romantic relationship is platonic, so it doesn't seem to be a simple "it's just fanon" thing. I feel like these people just think of friendship as something that isn't worth anything, which is why this makes me extra angry.

I am getting so sick and tired of all these Insane Yuri Shippers! I feel like if any character in these sorts of shows like this so much as looks at another one, stupid fans automatically claim it's canonically romantic Lesbianism and ship it insanely. So many fans of these cuteness anime shows like you seemingly act like friendship is disgusting compared to the godliness that is "Lesbianism."
But I am a Sane Fan, and I don't do this crap!

When I see stuff like this and people say it's Yuri, I just wish it would stop!

Let me give you some more examples of why this stuff IS NOT YURI!

By your Yuri Logic, I suppose it was Yuri in Frozen, when Elsa's "ACT OF TRUE LOVE" broke the spell on Anna's heart and saved her?  



NO! THAT IS NOT YURI! They are just good friends and allies. Not Gay Lovers, even if it was an "Act Of True Love," (which by the way, before Elsa, she tried getting from her supposed True Lover, Prince Hans, before he revealed that he was just playing her all along.)


Or how about this one?
Was it Yuri in Digimon, in this scene where Sora ran over to her seriously wounded Birdramon crying and shouted out "NOOOOOO! BIRDRAMON, I LOVE YOU!" Which in turn activated her CREST OF LOVE, allowing Birdramon to Digivolve into Garudamon and save everyone?



NO! THAT IS NOT YURI! They are just good friends and allies!


Or how about this scene from Gochiusa?



THIS IS NOT YURI! It's just two snuggly sweeties being cute together! In fact, she says "At least let me stock up on cuddles", not "You're so sexy I want to f**k you, or something like that! Cuddles are not Yuri, they're just full-on cuteness!

Admit it, you'd wanna cuddle these fluffy cuties too, and that doesn't make you gay or perverted if you wanted to.


Or how about this scene in Black Rock Shooter? -->  "Stop Mato, that tickles!"

That's not Yuri! They're just being big fluffy sweeties full of snuggliness and cuteness! Just like the big cuddly cuties in K-ON. IT'S NOT GAY, IT'S JUST CUTENESS!

Just like all of those, THEY AREN'T GAY OR YURI! THEY'RE JUST BEST FRIENDS AND TEAMMATES!!!



Now for what is TRULY YURI!

THEY ARE NOT YURI UNLESS THEY ARE DOING STUFF LIKE THIS WITH EACH OTHER! I'VE WATCHED ENOUGH TRUE YURI ANIME STUFF (and unfortunately enough Hentai and Harem Anime too) TO KNOW! Like for instance, ever seen the anime Citrus? Citrus is a PERFECT EXAMPLE of what Yuri TRULY is! Also anime shows like Miss Kobayashi's Maid Dragon, Strawberry Panic, To Love Ru, and Seikon No Qwaser are other good examples of what Yuri Truly Is!
(these are the only examples I could find without Nudity in them but this is what is TRULY YURI!)

Look at all those things they are doing together in those, like the Dry-Humpings, attempting to look down their underwear, Tongue-Kisses, Gropings, and such.
THIS IS WHAT IS TRULY YURI!

The cute little sweeties in stuff like Touhou, Lucky Star, K-ON, Maho Shoujo, Sonic, Megaman X, RWBY, Hitsugi No Chaika, Rozen Maiden, oh and Frozen and Digimon NEVER DO STUFF LIKE THAT WITH EACH OTHER!!! SO QUIT SAYING THEY ARE GAY YURI/YAOI LOVERS AND QUIT SAYING THAT I AM A YURI FAN!


I do admit that some shows I am into, like Strike Witches and Arpeggio of Blue Steel, and Robot Girls Z do have Yuri in them, but that is NOT why I like them.

The ones that don't really have Yuri, but people keep acting like it does and making all these dumb gay shippings and also accusing me of having a Yuri Fetish (WHICH I DO NOT), is what I hate! I've had enough already!
