Stop KOSA!
https://www.stopkosa.com/ We've got another one of those terrible Internet-hindering bills that we need stopped. The Kids Online Safety Act, or KOSA, is a new bill that they think is going to improve the Internet, when in truth, it will ruin online privacy and legitimize targeted censorship. Pushing the Internet to somehow accurately censor information for minors alone is an impossible task. Instead, we would see widespread censorship for both minor and adult users. Everyone! Take a stand! Urge our senators to oppose this bill in Congress! We cannot allow another potential SOPA or CISSPA from being passed.
Post-32nd-Birthday Journal
My 32nd birthday was yesterday and I think things are still looking up from previously. I had a good time, we did the usual go out somewhere nice to eat and hang out. It's a good thing my birthday this year was on a weekend. The place we went to this year had a live music performance too, which was pretty cool. For presents, I got a cool new alarm clock and this cool buildable model kit figure of FireMan.EXE from Megaman Battle Network. Now I have both the Megaman.EXE and FireMan.EXE ones. I heard from a couple friends that the said model kits of Roll.EXE and GutsMan.EXE are not very high quality (like their arms and headgear keeps falling off) so I'm not planning on getting them. If they make another wave of these model kit type figures I wanna see ones of NumberMan.EXE, Meddy.EXE, ProtoMan.EXE, or SearchMan.EXE. I also got two new video games, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Rivals Of Aether. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a pretty neat game, seriously Jet Set Radio and Tony Hawk's
My stance on Palworld
So, a new indie game in early access has arrived that apparently already is making a lot of money, but also is getting a lot of controversy to the point that they are threatening the developers, Palworld. It's apparently an open-world style game where you roam a land full of Pokemon lookalike creatures called Pals, and can either save them or kill them, as well as fight a sort of enemy group who wants to poach and enslave them. Definitely a different take towards most games of its type, with the real-time fighting instead of turn-based, and being able to use things like axes and guns in combat, fight as a trainer, or even catch or kill the enemy trainers. I honestly don't know if I am going to get the game myself, although I will admit for an Early Access game it is pretty well-polished, but from what I've seen of it, here's my stances on it. First of all, a big argument people keep trying to make because they for some reason have a problem with this game and it being successful
My thoughts on Sonic Prime
So given how Sonic is the series I like more than any other anime or game series I've ever seen, I thought I'd give my views on Sonic Prime now that it has gotten quite a bit into the series so far. First I just wanna add, I never thought just being a fan of an animated series/video game could be so hard at times. Being how the series has gone as of the 2010s (except Frontiers, that was unbelievably wicked mega uber cool to the max), or being bashed because they think Sonic Fan automatically equals Furry or Pervert, or being bashed for not praising Mario over Sonic, it can be difficult, but the Sonic series overall has had such a huge impact on me, and literally there is no other series I can go to get the same exact uber cute and mega hyper uber awesome experience (and no, Spark The Electric Jester doesn't count because its not cute, and I totally hated the 3rd Spark Game), I have no other alternatives. Seems to be a reoccurring theme with a few series I like. A series that I'm a
